Privacy Policy

Mousisi is built to collect as little as possible. We do not show ads, we do not sell your data, and we use no third-party advertising or tracking analytics.

Data that stays on your device

Your playlist, favorites, parental PIN, and app settings are stored locally on your device. If you never use the optional website activation, this information is never sent to us.

Data we handle if you use website activation

• Device ID - a random identifier the app generates (not your hardware MAC address), used to tie an activation or a saved playlist to a device.
• Saved playlist - if you store a playlist on our site, we keep it encrypted at rest and protected by a PIN you set (the PIN is stored hashed, never in plain text).
• Activation status - whether a device is on trial, active, or comped, plus the date and a payment reference.
• Technical data - your IP address may be processed transiently to rate-limit abuse.

Payments

Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record. They handle your payment details and applicable taxes under their own privacy policy. We do not receive or store your card information; we only receive a confirmation and a payment reference.

Your rights

You can ask us to access or delete the data tied to your device ID at any time, and you can remove a saved playlist from within the app. Under GDPR and CCPA/CPRA you have rights to access, deletion, correction, and to opt out of any sale of personal information (we do not sell personal information). Retention & contact
